Catawba Valley Community College

Beta Eta Delta is the CVCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, America's most prestigious scholarly organization for students at two-year colleges. The chapter recognizes outstanding academic achievement, encourages scholarship, and fosters a commitment to service to the college and community. Eligible students are issued an invitation to join by the President of CVCC. In order to be eligible, a student must be enrolled into a two year degree program, have completed 12 hours of curricular work, be registered for 1 curricular course in the current semester, and have an overall 3.5 or higher GPA. Inductions into Beta Eta Delta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa are held in March and October.
