who am I?

My name is Marisa Luciano, and I am a young new designer who is always eager to learn something new. If you had asked me a few years ago who I thought I was, I would have said I was an indecisive high school graduate who was on a quest to find herself. Now I would say I'm a creative and passionate designer and I am excited to enter the world of design.

I graduated from high school in 2006 and enrolled at CVCC the following year in a General Studies Program. I transferred into the Advertsing and Graphic Design Program in Fall 2008 and am expected to graduate in the Summer of 2010.

I was awarded a NC Scholar Award in 2006 In 2007 I joined Phi Theta Kappa based on my GPA. In 2009 I was nominated for the 7th annual CVCC Leadership Conference, where I was awarded an Outstanding Portfolio award.

I believe that a designer never stops developing. There is always something to be inspired by. My inspirations come from the little things around me. I Enjoy the simple things in life and I want others to enjoy them too. I am a young designer who has so many things to learn and experience. I have a fresh perspective on things and I'm excited to show the world what I can do.

I would like to continue my education. My goal is to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree for Graphic Design and an Associates Degree in Marketing. I want to be as well rounded as I can so that I can fully embrace my career choice and enjoy it at its fullest.
